Before you can use the Converdy Zapier app, you will have to get access first. The app is in beta mode, so it won't appear in public searches yet. Click the link below, scroll down and click Accept Invite & Build a Zap
Alright, lets get started creating your first automation with Converdy and Zapier!🔥
To get started, let's make sure you form is properly setup.
Click on your form and make sure the ID fields all have readable names that make sense to you. Like name for the Name field and email for the Email field.
Publish your funnel, submit the form with a name and email address and go Zapier to create a Zap.
Click the Make a Zap! button and search for Converdy in the search bar. If your invite was accepted, you will find Converdy.
Select Converdy and continue to Choose Trigger.
The New Lead trigger will trigger anytime a lead was submitted to a form associated with your user account, but before this can work, you have to authenticate with your account's API Key.
To get your API Key, go to your user profile in Converdy and scroll down to the API Key section. Click show to reveal your API Key and copy it.
If you copy the API Key, go back to Zapier and click the Connect an Account button.
Paste your API Key into the field, and click Yes, Continue
Great! Converdy and Zapier are now connected, enabling you to forward data to 1000+ other products🔥
In the Edit Options step, you can choose when you want this Zap to run. There are 3 options.
- If you don't select a Project or Funnel, it will trigger whenever any of your forms is submitted.
- If you select a Project, it will only trigger whenever a form within the selected project is submitted.
- If you select a Funnel, it will only trigger whenever a form within the selected funnel is submitted.
To test if everything is working, click the Pull Sample button to get some leads from your Converdy account into Zapier. You will see the fields key contains your form fields, which will now map to fields in Mailchimp.
To connect MailChimp, you will have to repeat the same steps you did for Converdy. First, choose an action. For this article, we will add a subscriber to a list in MailChimp by choosing Add/Update Subscriber.
Then connect your MailChimp account.
Now for the last part, it's time to map your form fields to fields in MailChimp by Editing the template. Choose where you want fields to go, like in the image below👀
Then send a test. If the Zap doesn't work as expected, you can still change configuration by clicking back in menu on the left.
And save your Zap by name.
You're done!🚀Make sure to double check by submitting a form in the user account, project or funnel you've just connected and enjoy the world of automations😎
